This is a unique opportunity for a “People Person” to join our small team in an autonomous and very rewarding role, helping to provide a welcoming village environment and deliver exceptional customer service to the McQuoin Park residents. In your role you will be the first point of contact for residents, visitors and service providers and coordinate a range of village activities and services that enhance daily life and ensure our residents thrive. Day to day this role looks like: Creating a welcoming and personable reception experience for residents, employees, guests, and visitors Welcoming new residents and helping them to settle into the community Enhancing the resident experience by building relationships early so they feel seen, heard and known Scheduling and conducting resident tours to showcase the village for potential residents and their family members Liasing with team members in the village, coordinating activities and events and managing monthly newsletters Maintaining up to date knowledge of all Catholic Healthcare offerings, including the ‘Checked In Care’ app and other technology to support residents and families to customise their experience at the village Responding to resident feedback and complaints, ensuring they feel heard and resolving or escalating as needed Coordinating resident services including optional services for residents Liaising with resident and social committees Providing an exceptional experience to residents focusing on hospitality, wellbeing and leisure Ensuring resident safety during activities, including conducting environmental and activity risk assessments and designing safe work procedures To be successful in this role you’ll need: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build meaningful relationships with older people Ability to handle multiple tasks and coordinate effectively Have a warm and welcoming disposition and confidence in a front of house role Problem solving skills Hospitality industry background advantageous (but not essential) Strong Information Technology skills and ability to demonstrate technology to others Be a people person who genuinely enjoys engaging with others What we can offer you: Not-for-profit tax benefits so you pay less tax Fitness Passport discounted gym benefits Paid Parental leave Long Service leave after 5 years 40 Locations across NSW and QLD if you choose to move A values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgrounds We know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.
