We're looking for an enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our friendly aquatic team! This is a fantastic opportunity to share your love of swimming while helping others build confidence and skills in the water. What You'll Be Doing As our Swim Instructor, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to teach swimming techniques and water safety to students ranging from young children taking their first splash to adults looking to improve their stroke. Every day will be different, and you'll play a vital role in creating positive experiences that last a lifetime. Your main responsibilities will include: Teaching swimming lessons to individuals and groups of various skill levels Creating fun and engaging lesson plans tailored to different age groups Ensuring water safety protocols are followed at all times Providing constructive feedback and encouragement to help students progress Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance Assisting with pool maintenance and equipment care Communicating effectively with parents and guardians about their child's development What We're Looking For We'd love to hear from you if you're someone who genuinely enjoys helping others achieve their goals and has a natural ability to connect with people. While experience is great, we value enthusiasm and the right attitude just as much! The ideal candidate will have: Strong swimming abilities across all four competitive strokes Current lifeguard certification or willingness to obtain one Previous teaching or coaching experience (preferred but not essential) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience and understanding when working with learners of all abilities Reliability and punctuality First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends What We Offer We believe in taking care of our team members because happy instructors create the best learning environment for our students.
