As a Senior Systems Administrator , you’ll play a critical role in supporting and uplifting UnitingCare Queensland’s applications and digital platforms. Reporting to the Senior Technical Applications Lead, you’ll provide technical leadership across enterprise workforce systems, partnering closely with Payroll, HR, Finance, Operations and Technology teams to deliver reliable, compliant and future-focused solutions. Please note, this position is Full Time, 12-month Fixed Term with the potential to transition to a permanent role. Your part in our UnitingCare team: Design, build and maintain UKG/Kronos organisational structures aligned to operational locations and Enterprise Agreements, ensuring accurate timekeeping and payroll outcomes Administer and configure Kronos Workforce Central / Workforce Management modules including Timekeeping, Scheduling, Accruals and Absence Management Provide technical support for Kronos time and attendance devices, including configuration, deployment, firmware updates and troubleshooting Lead system enhancements, upgrades and change management activities, including user access and security controls Partner with key stakeholders across Payroll, HR, Finance, Operations and Digital Platforms to deliver trusted workforce solutions Partner with key stakeholders across Payroll, HR, Finance, Operations and Digital Platforms to deliver trusted workforce solutions Maintain system documentation, disaster recovery processes and support prioritisation of incidents and requests What makes a difference for us? This may include: Nationally Coordinated Police Check Right to Work in Australia Insolvency Check WWCC – Blue Card NDIS Worker Screening What you will bring: Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology or an equivalent relevant discipline. 7 years’ experience in a senior systems administration within enterprise environments. Extensive hands-on experience administering UKG/Kronos in complex, award-driven, multi-Enterprise Agreement environments. Strong understanding of organisational hierarchies, location-based workforce models, pay rules, labour laws, and compliance requirements. Experience integrating UKG/Kronos with HRIS and Payroll systems (Aurion, Chris21, and/or Workday highly regarded). SQL capability for data analysis, reconciliation, and issue resolution (desirable). Proven experience supporting Kronos clocks and time and attendance hardware. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. High attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Eligibility to obtain a Federal Police Check and a genuine commitment to the mission and values of the not-for-profit sector.
