About the role Be part of the engineering team responsible for the Integrated Systems, learn, support, and gradually take ownership of automation, deployment, and infrastructure tasks, while building the foundations of systems used by the Worldpay for Platforms system to offer our services. Managing an always on platform. What you’ll own Server support: Maintain user access, firewalling, certificates, file storage and AV. Web Infrastructure: WAF, DNS, Load balancing etc Database: Support and Manage SQL Database. Agent Jobs, SPs and Users. Web services support: Manage keys, certificates, upgrades etc. Incident response assistance: Participate in troubleshooting outages or performance issues under supervision. Fail Over, Support and manage server fail over for maintenance or outages Monitoring and logging: Maintain alerts, dashboards, and logs to track system health. Testing: Support QA and sign off of new development and system changes. Future proof: Support migration to cloud environments with design and build processes from MSP to Azure. Documentation: Maintain clear records of processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth releases. This role is required to work with different teams across different geographies and time zones to deliver business outcomes. As such, the role may be required to work or remain contactable outside regular hours due to different time zones at times. Other related duties as assigned. What you bring Experience with complex Web apps, SQL databases, SOAP and REST APIs. Knowledge of Azure basics: VMs, Key Vaults, CI/CD, Users. Experience with Cloudflare WAF, Security, Network management Ability to support third party systems, SendGrid, Bulk SMS. Experience with New Relic or other server and infrastructure monitoring tools It’s a bonus if you have A Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. 1–2 years of experience in IT, software development, or system administration preferred. Experience in Banking, FinTech, POS or other transactional based SaaS platforms. Certifications in cloud or DevOps tools are a plus (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Docker Certified Associate). PCI / ISO27001 desirable.
