Role Detail As a key member of KWM’s renowned Corporate Hospitality team, you’ll work closely with our Head Chef and team members to deliver outstanding food experiences across our internal café, boardrooms, and corporate events. This is a 12‑month fixed term contract , offering full-time hours (Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm) . You will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and salads that meet our standards for taste, freshness, presentation, and nutrition. You will also help maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure safe food handling practices throughout your shift. Key Responsibilities: Support daily café operations, including receiving deliveries Maintain safe and hygienic work practices at all times Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and light lunches daily Assist with stock ordering and ingredient preparation Perform basic food preparation as required Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchenware Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and appliances Keep all working areas clean, tidy, and organised Check, unpack, and store incoming stock deliveries Follow correct stock rotation and storage procedures Assist the Head Chef, Sous Chefs, and broader kitchen team with additional tasks as needed About You You’ll thrive in this role if you have: Previous sandwich or light food preparation experience (preferred) Basic knife skills and safe food handling knowledge Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high-demand environment Experience performing routine, process‑driven tasks Strong attention to detail, especially in presentation Good communication skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required A collaborative, team‑oriented approach Professionalism, courtesy, and a positive attitude Completed food safety training Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities Who are we?
