Core Talent are Partnered with a Leading EPC company that services the Commercial, Industrial & Utility sector, focusing on delivering world-class Engineering, Procurement & Construction services centred around a broad range of renewable energy projects. This company offer a varied workload across multiple energy sectors and have a healthy pipeline of long-term renewable energy projects across Australia. You will be given autonomy to manage large, complex projects Solar/BESS/Wind/VPP/EV projects, whilst being fully immersed in a client-facing Project Management role. Key Responsibilities Create, execute project plans, ensuring milestones, and success factors are identified Define and manage scope changes Oversee the management of project tasks Stakeholder management, ensuring adherence to PM methodologies Identify risks and ensure controls in measure to mitigate Prepare and undertake quality reviews Review all project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness Resource planning, budgeting and cost control, scheduling Sub-contractor management Assist the engineering team with large-scale solar and energy storage system designs, DNSP connection applications, reports Identify opportunities for improvement The Ideal Candidate This role would suit a Project Manager that is working in a larger EPC, that would like more exposure to a broader range of projects, as well as more ownership of multiple projects at once. This business offers a dynamic working environment where you will be exposed to varied projects of different size & scale. Technically relevant degree or considerable number of years’ experience in Energy project management Experience with utility-scale EPC projects across Solar/BESS/Wind/VPP/EV etc. Solid fundamental knowledge of project management techniques, tools and project management software Excellent decision-making skills, able to determine best course of action where required Commercial awareness and experience working in a customer-facing capacity Manage and lead direct reports, identifying development plans and performance issues
