We are seeking an experienced Senior People & Culture Business Partner to play a pivotal role in supporting our leaders and strengthening our workforce across Tasmania. This is a senior, trusted-advisor role, ideal for a People & Culture professional who enjoys balancing strategy with hands-on partnership and who is deeply aligned to purpose-driven work. The Role Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will partner closely with senior leaders and operational managers to deliver contemporary people solutions that enable high-quality care. Key responsibilities include: Acting as a strategic and operational P&C partner to leaders across diverse services Leading complex employee relations and case management with confidence and care Supporting workforce planning, change initiatives and organisational development Coaching leaders to build capability, accountability and positive workplace culture Interpreting and applying industrial instruments, legislation and best practice P&C frameworks Contributing to P&C strategy, projects and continuous improvement initiatives About You You are a seasoned People & Culture professional who brings both credibility and warmth to your work. You are comfortable influencing at senior levels while remaining practical and solutions focused. You will bring: Significant experience in a senior HR / People & Culture Business Partner role Strong knowledge of industrial relations, employment legislation and contemporary P&C practice Demonstrated experience supporting leaders through change and complexity Exceptional interpersonal skills, judgement and emotional intelligence A genuine alignment with values-based, community or care-focused organisations (aged care experience highly regarded) Why Join Southern Cross Care Tasmania?
