Your new role We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team in a full-time role based in Murarrie, QLD. Occasional travel to other locations may be required based on operational or business needs. Key responsibilities : Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, staff expenses, and credit control Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations, journals, and month-end close activities Maintain asset registers and support stocktakes, inventory reconciliations, and record keeping Oversee vehicle and operational administration, including registrations, fuel cards, and servicing records Reconcile GST and PAYG accounts and support compliance with Australian accounting and tax requirements Provide accurate financial and administrative support to the finance team and the wider business Maintain contract registers and ensure activities comply with internal policies and Quality Management Systems What you will need to succeed Essential : Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (completed or near completion) Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and reconciliations Good Excel skills High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks 1-2 years' experience in a similar role Desirable : Experience with Australian accounting systems (MYOB) Exposure to GST, BAS, or ATO reporting Studying or intending to study CPA or CA What you will get in return Joining this organisation, you will reap the benefits of having a supportive team and manager here in Brisbane whilst gaining exposure to the operations and processes involved in a profitable and internationally owned group.
