Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager $100k–$120k Super Gold Coast | Full-Time | On-site The Opportunity An established and growing accounting and advisory practice are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to step into a key leadership role within the business. This is more than a compliance role. This position offers genuine influence, autonomy, and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while managing a high-quality client portfolio. Key Responsibilities Manage and review a portfolio of business and individual clients Processing of annual compliance work such as financial statements and income tax returns. Reviewing other accounting team annual compliance work. Deliver high-quality compliance services with a strong advisory focus Provide value-added advice including tax planning, CGT, structuring and business insights Act as a key point of contact for clients and build long-term relationships Review financial statements, income tax returns and team output to a high standard Responsible for all aspects of your client portfolio, including the scheduling of work and client contact. Delegate and manage workflow to ensure productivity and deadlines are met Coach, mentor and support accountants at varying levels Contribute to workflow management, process improvement and internal projects Champion technology, efficient systems and best-practice processes About You CA or CPA qualified (or near completion) 7 years’ experience in public practice accounting with managerial experience Proficient to convey and share expertise regarding taxation law, accounting standards, systems and processes Strong technical capability across compliance and advisory Proven ability to manage workflow, deadlines and competing priorities Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills Leadership mindset with a genuine interest in developing others Highly organised, detail-oriented and commercially aware Comfortable working in a modern, tech-enabled environment (Xero experience highly regarded) What Success Looks Like Here Lead and own a diverse client portfolio, delivering proactive, strategic advice and acting as a trusted advisor to key clients.
