Making innovation possible. Making the world work. ACTIVITIES Missions: Development of Android applications using Kotlin and Java for research, testing and internal tools. Review of client technical software development lifecycle documentation to ensure compliance. Client code reviews to assure correct implementation and practices are being followed. Weekly client technical calls to discuss and review queries of their evaluations with regards to the software product. Testing of client applications and systems to ensure software security requirements are compliant. Review of cloud infrastructure implementation to ensure that system architecture is secure. Reverse engineering of Android applications. Analyze security alerts and logs from various systems (firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, etc.) Review logs for signs of unauthorized access or other security issues. Review reports covering security incidents and breaches of backend systems, including those scoped into payments, detailing personnel involved and remediation undertaken. Identify post-incident processes and confirm these are sufficient to prevent recurrence. Analyze vulnerability scan and penetration test results on the network, applications, and systems. Confirm priority of remediation efforts and that issues are resolved. Simulate attack scenarios to test the effectiveness of implemented protections. Conduct internal security assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures. Review systems, applications, and infrastructure for security risks before deployment. Conduct security assessments and evaluations of payment systems against PCI MPoC, PCI CPoC, PCI SPoC, and related PCI standards. Analyze security controls in payment devices and applications to ensure PCI compliance. Identify and assess risks associated with payment systems. Evaluate risk mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities. Ensure that risk management processes align with PCI requirements. Review security policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure that vendor policies and procedures are aligned with PCI and industry standards and best practices. Attend regular meetings with the team to discuss security concerns and other changes in industry / PCI / other best practices. Provide input on secure system design and architecture. Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met. Communicate security findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress and outstanding issues that impact security and accreditation. Document security controls and measures implemented in payment systems. Maintain records of security assessments, test results, and compliance status. Stay updated on the latest PCI standards and security trends in the payment industry. Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge. Participate in PCI recognized lab accreditation and audit activities. Understanding of ISO 17025 standard. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Completed degree in a related field Solid technical knowledge. Fluency in English Excellent written and spoken communication skills within an international and multi-cultural environment. High degree of accuracy and thoroughness in work.
