Job Description About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and people focused Community Activity Centre Coordinator to lead the delivery of high-quality group programs. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Community Activity Centre, ensuring programs are well designed, client needs are met and staff are effectively rostered and supported. You will provide hands on leadership to a team of Activity Officers, manage program scheduling, coordinate volunteers and work closely with internal stakeholders to match clients with the right activities. The role also includes responsibility for budgeting, reporting, compliance and maintaining high standards of governance, safety and service quality. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in disability services, who enjoys leading teams, improving processes and creating meaningful client experiences in a dynamic community environment. This is a permanent part-time position (0.8FTE) working Monday to Thursday. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and develop Community Activity Centre groups and operations, including program scheduling, activity planning, and staff rostering. Provide effective line management and supervision to Activity Centre staff including conflict resolution. Manage staff leave requests and participate in performance review processes. Collaborate with the Client Experience Team to allocate clients to suitable programs. Oversee volunteer involvement and coordinate induction processes. Keep up to date with disability and aged care funding reforms and apply required changes to service delivery. Monitor and update activity attendances, pricing structures and communicate impacts to clients. In conjunction with Business Manager, develop, manage and monitor budgets to ensure sustainable service delivery. Manage governance requirements including incident reporting, consumer feedback and complaints. Prepare operational reports, including financial and service delivery metrics. Contribute to special project funding applications and grant submissions. Promote EverAbillity Group programs and events in collaboration with the Marketing team. Engage in continuous improvement and clinical governance activities. Support WHS initiatives and contribute to EverAbillity Group process improvement system. Undertake other duties as required within the scope of the role. Desired Skills and Experience Essential Skills and Attributes: Experience navigating NDIS systems and advocating for people with disabilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience supervising staff. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Flexible, resourceful and effective in managing time and competing priorities. Alignment with EverAbility Group’s mission, values and person-centred philosophy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email and database systems. Desirable: Awareness of the impact of disability and low vision on individuals. Allied Health qualification. First aid certificate or willingness to become a first aider.
