School Officer- Laboratory Technician Job No : TCE4605 Commencement Date: Monday 23 February 2026 or as soon as practicable Location: Mount Isa, QLD Salary Range: $36.98 - $38.14 per hour pending experience Super We’re looking for passionate and dedicated School Officer- Laboratory Technician to work in a Permanent, Term Time capacity of 30 hours per week. This role provides effective support to the College’s science programs by assisting teaching staff with the design, preparation, demonstration, and delivery of practical experiments and assessments. Responsibilities include preparing, maintaining, ordering, and safely disposing of laboratory equipment, materials, and stock solutions; maintaining accurate laboratory records; and ensuring laboratories operate in compliance with Work Health and Safety requirements. The position works collaboratively with laboratory assistants, academic staff, and the WHS Officer to review processes, support student learning, and ensure the smooth and safe operation of science laboratories, along with undertaking other duties as required.
