What you will be doing Reporting directly to the Lead Intelligence Analyst, the Intelligence Analyst supports intelligence-led decision making of electoral compliance operations across Victoria by monitoring internal and external sources and identifying and reporting on trends relevant to compliance with the Electoral Act 2002 (Vic) . The role involves analysis of available data sources and production of intelligence products that inform regulatory decision making, contributing to safeguarding electoral integrity and ensuring the VEC meets its statutory obligations and community expectations around fairness, transparency and regulatory compliance. The role will be responsible for Collection, evaluation, collation, analysis and controlled dissemination of information in respect of the VEC's regulated activities. Identification, assessment and reporting on regulated entities and trends to inform compliance activities. Making high quality recommendations based on analysis to support leadership and executive decisions. Supporting the development of a robust information store. What you will bring to the role Demonstrated experience in contemporary intelligence tradecraft. Critical thinking and sound analytical approaches. Well-developed written communication skills, with the ability to produce evidence-based reports and recommendations supported by sound decision making. Commitment to the VEC's core values.
