About the Roles Monford is seeking Civil Engineers at Project, Site and Senior levels to support major renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the East Coast. These roles are site-based (FIFO) and delivery-focused, with a strong emphasis on earthworks and groundworks. If your background includes bulk earthworks, roadworks, pads, drainage, and working in challenging ground conditions we want to hear from you. Exposure to geotechnical works is highly regarded. You’ll be hands-on in the delivery of civil scopes, working closely with supervisors, subcontractors, and project teams to keep works moving safely, efficiently, and to spec. What You’ll Be Doing Depending on level, your responsibilities may include: Delivering civil works across renewable energy and infrastructure projects Managing and coordinating earthworks, roadworks, drainage and ground improvement scopes Reviewing designs, geotechnical information, and construction methodologies Identifying risks early and implementing practical, site-based solutions Managing materials, subcontractors, documentation and progress reporting Supporting or mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a strong, safety-led site culture About You You’re a practical, solutions-driven engineer who enjoys being on site and seeing work delivered in the real world, not just on paper. You’ll ideally bring: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Experience across earthworks-heavy civil projects (renewables, infrastructure, roadworks or similar) Exposure to geotechnical conditions or investigations (highly regarded) Strong understanding of safety, quality and compliance in live construction environments Clear communication skills and a team-first mindset We’re open to engineers from roadworks or infrastructure backgrounds who are keen to transition into renewables.
