Divisional Coordinator role - Internal expression of interest Temporary full-time up from 2 March to 28 August 2026 (35 hours per week) Office location is flexible, hybrid working supported Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $109,102 to $120,542 super The Nature and Natural Capital Strategy (NNCS) Divisional Coordination team is currently seeking to appoint a Divisional Coordinator for a 6-month period from 2 March to 28 August 2026. The Divisional Coordinator provides divisional and project coordination and advice, supporting the priorities of the Nature and Natural Capital Strategy Division. The Divisional Coordinator liaises with staff across DCCEEW to coordinate and manage Executive Director approvals, including Ministerial, Cabinet, and Parliamentary briefings. About you We’re looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised and motivated team player to join the Divisional Coordination team. Your role will be vital in supporting the Division to provide high quality and timely advice. To be successful you will need to possess the following qualities and skills: The ability to manage competing priorities and provide consistently high levels of support. Proven ability to coordinate high quality written materials for official correspondence, such as, ministerial correspondence, briefings, reports, submissions and notes. Have a strong attention to detail Ability to be flexible and responsive to meet identified priorities. The role provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the breadth of the Division’s work. Key knowledge and experience Experience in providing, high level business and coordination services including demonstrated ability to draft correspondence such as reports, letters and briefing documents.
