Internal expression of interest Temporary (Up to June 2026) full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity (Possibility of extension of contract) Parramatta - Location flexible, hybrid working supported Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $99,938 to $110,271 super Our Strategic Priorities & Coordination team is currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Grant Project Officer to support the administration and delivery of grant programs that fund water infrastructure projects across regional NSW. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to programs that deliver tangible benefits for regional communities while building experience in government grants and project delivery. In this role, you will provide administrative and project support to assist the effective delivery of grant‑funded projects. This includes supporting monitoring and reporting activities, maintaining accurate grant documentation and records, assisting with research and analysis, and helping coordinate project activities to ensure programs are delivered in line with governance and probity requirements. You will work as part of a collaborative team within the Grants Branch and support internal colleagues and external stakeholders, including local councils and delivery partners. About You You are an organised and motivated professional with experience in administration, project support or grants‑related work, ideally within a government or regulated environment. You have a good understanding of the importance of governance, record‑keeping and meeting reporting requirements, and you are comfortable supporting multiple tasks and priorities at the same time. Experience assisting with grants administration, project coordination or program support will be highly regarded. You are a clear and respectful communicator who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting stakeholders. You have strong attention to detail, can manage your workload effectively, and are willing to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment. With a positive and proactive approach, you contribute to team outcomes and support the delivery of high‑quality programs that benefit communities across NSW.
