About the role In this role, you will deliver high-quality Exercise Physiologist interventions and therapy support to our clients at LifeWorks Cairns. As an essential member of the Allied Health team, you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions within a client-focused and goal-centred framework. You will work as part of a talented multi-disciplinary team at LifeWorks Cairns while enjoying the diversity of working in both centre-based and community settings across these two locations. Key responsibilities include: Identification of rehab and disability support for clients Develop indvidualised client interventions, therapy support plans and treatment Delivering excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning and evidence-based practice Identify and support client goal setting Collaboration with multidisciplinary Allied Health team Referrals to internal and external providers Participate in ongoing professional development and staying up to date with latest research and treatment techniques About you To be successful in this role, you will have a balanced approach to supporting a diverse caseload and be committed to whole person care ensuring you deliver quality support to your customers. Your dedicated to enriching the lives of our customers and provide information, advice and support about exercise to help them manage diverse conditions. Essential Criteria: Degree in Exercise Physiology Accreditation with Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Exercise Physiologist (AEP) Ability to work independently as a sole clinician and as part of a multidisciplinary team Previous experience working within private hospital or rehabilitation environment desirable Previous experience working with neurological disorders including stroke and Parkinson’s Disease desirable PD Warrior certification (or willingness to complete training) desirable Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent organisation and time management skills Strong commitment and professionalism to customer centred care Experience building long lasting patient relationships Highly motivated and a positive attitude Your Royal Rewards Salary Packaging : Up to $18,550 salary packaging benefits (lower your taxable income and increase your take home pay!)
