Hours & Roster This role offers great work-life balance and the chance to start your career mining: Mon to fri roster with 12-hour days. Be home each night but still work within mining Gain experience in the heart of underground hard rock mining and build your career from day one. The Role You'll work alongside experienced mechanics under the guidance of a workshop supervisor, learning to maintain, rebuild, and learn a fleet of mining equipment with day-to-day tasks including: Assisting with rebuilds and maintenance projects. Helping with component change-outs and machinery upgrades. Supporting commissioning and testing of equipment. Assisting with auditing, inspection, and general workshop duties. Your Skills & Experience Either light vehicle or heavy diesel trade qualified but mining experience is not required just a strong willingness to learn and upskill within your trade: A trade qualification in light or heavy vehicle mechanics. Positive attitude, safety-first mindset, and a willingness to learn. Interest in building a career in underground mining. Willingness to work a structured roster and gain hands-on experience.
