DHA manages an expanding portfolio of housing solutions and provides housing for over 17,200 ADF members and their families and administers rent allowance for more than 16,000 ADF members and their families in private rental accommodation. DHA provides housing related services advising on eligibility, providing posting support, and managing bookings and allocation services for all DHA provisioned housing and on-base accommodation to approximately 60,000 ADF members. The key duties of the position include About your team The Property function within Defence Housing Australia is responsible for the delivery of Acquisitions, Leasing, Disposals, Marketing and Strategic Provisioning initiatives. The Leasing and Acquisitions Team is responsible for the sourcing and delivery of new properties to the portfolio via lease or acquisition, as well as management of all lease agreements including extensions, new contracts and end of lease processes across the national portfolio of properties. About the role To be effective in this role you must be a team player with a customer service focus and have a strong skill set in client management, organisation and time management, including the ability to produce high quality work within agreed deadlines. You will be required to work cooperatively and consultatively across DHA Divisions to achieve whole of business outcomes, whilst ensuring DHA meets its obligations under the Lease Agreement. You will be required to work effectively within a geographically dispersed team, managing your own workloads while supporting the wider team.
