About the Role MSS Security is seeking full-time reliever security officers to join our team at the University of Melbourne. You’ll work as part of a dedicated, customer-focused team, ensuring the safety of staff and visitors, conducting regular foot patrols across the campus, and providing assistance where needed in a dynamic, active and professional environment. Key Duties include, but are not limited to: Conduct regular foot patrols across the campus, primarily outdoors Assist visitors with directions and navigation, including escorting them across the campus if required Ensure that campus property is securely locked and unlocked as necessary Write detailed reports in response to incidents Communicate clearly and calmly with stakeholders across the University Requirements: Full Australian Working Rights Current Victorian Security Licence Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR Current driver’s license Availability to work a 24*7 rotating roster Able to comfortably walk distances of 15-25km over the course of a 12-hour shift Strong communication skills Strong ability to write detailed and accurate incident reports Master License Number: 409-987-30S How to apply MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.
