Job Description Summary Join a high-performing team reimagining cardiovascular care. In this field-based Victoria role, you will lead customer engagement and sales performance for a market leading cardiovascular portfolio, with a primary focus on Cardiologists, Endocrinologists and General Physicians across major hospital networks including Monash and the Victorian Heart Hospital. Around 80% of your time will be spent in hospital and specialist settings, with a smaller GP component (less than 20%). This is a 12-month contract opportunity, ideal for someone with proven specialist experience who is passionate about improving outcomes for Australian patients. Reporting to a dynamic National Sales Manager, you will be part of a collaborative, driven team with a laser focus on delivering impact for patients living with cardiovascular disease. Job Description Drive competitive sales growth by identifying and prioritising high‑potential specialist accounts and HCPs using data‑driven insights. Orchestrate positive, multi‑channel customer experiences (in‑person and virtual) to deliver strong sales and access outcomes. Lead value‑based clinical and commercial discussions with Cardiologists, Endocrinologists, General Physicians and GPs to understand needs and enhance the patient journey. Personalise engagement strategies aligned to customer preferences, guidelines and approved content. Build and sustain long‑term partnerships with HCPs and key hospital stakeholders within large teaching and tertiary centres. Gather, interpret and share customer and market insights to refine territory, account and interaction plans in real time. Collaborate cross‑functionally (medical, marketing, market access and other internal partners) to design compliant, customer‑centric solutions that address unmet needs. Ensure timely reporting of technical complaints and adverse events (within 24 hours) and manage sample distribution in line with company policies and regulations. What you will bring to the role Extensive pharmaceutical sales experience in specialist settings (cardiovascular, metabolic or related therapy areas strongly preferred). Demonstrated key account management success within the Australian hospital and specialist ecosystem; existing networks within cardiology/endocrinology desirable. Proven track record of delivering sales results in Healthcare/Pharma or related industries. Strengths in account planning, commercial excellence, clinical selling skills and technical aptitude. Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior specialists and multidisciplinary teams. Strong compliance and ethics mindset, with a solid understanding of the Australian healthcare system and evolving customer needs.
