Company Overview: Health Tech. Company Size: 1000 Team size: 1 x Tech Lead 5 x Senior Engineers Working Arrangement: Hybrid - 2/3 days in office. Role Purpose: The Engineering Manager leads the delivery and evolution of a mission-critical digital platform that enables clinicians to securely access and manage patient pathology results. The role blends technical leadership and people management to drive high-quality software delivery, strong team performance, and alignment with enterprise-wide technology modernisation objectives. Experience: Lead end-to-end delivery of a secure, reliable, high-quality digital platform. Provide technical direction, architectural guidance, and promote modern engineering practices. Coach and develop engineers to build capability and high-performing teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering outcomes with business priorities. Monitor metrics to drive continuous improvement and predictable delivery. Technical requirements: 8 years' experience in software engineering with hands-on exposure to web and mobile development. Proficiency in frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular) and native mobile platforms (iOS/Android), with backend experience (.NET, REST/SOAP services). Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and secure, scalable solution delivery. Experience with Agile, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation. Familiarity with integration patterns, microservices, and cloud or enterprise-scale platforms.
