About Us This is an exciting opportunity to work in our State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. This role sits more specifically in our Operations & Assurance team who support the Regulatory Operations division to increase supervision and enforcement capability, deliver continu ous improvement initiatives and support tracking and reporting across the division. Your responsibilities will include : Implement transparent, consistent, and measurable performance expectations for regulated entities to drive statutory compliance, promote sound practices, and achieve optimal outcomes. Provide expert guidance and support to build capability and influence regulated entities and internal stakeholders regarding s cheme objectives and deliver better outcomes for customers. Analyse data and coordinate analytic strategies to detect emerging risks, trends, and instances of non-compliance, informing proactive decision-making. Oversee the performance and compliance of regulated entities, identifying opportunities for service improvement and recommending actionable solutions. Implement targeted remediation activities to address risks and issues, ensuring compliance and alignment with scheme objectives . Develop and execute effective regulatory strategies that support scheme goals and reinforce public confidence in the regulator’s role.
