Key responsibilities include: Essential Skills Proven hands-on experience in workshop fitting, precision overhauls, fabrication, and welding in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments Solid expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics-diagnosis, repair, and overhaul (essential) Current Forklift Licence and Elevated Work Platform (EWP / Boom or Scissor Lift) ticket (essential) Demonstrated knowledge of JSEAs, Safe Work Method Statements, work permits, and safety protocols Ability to read technical drawings, use precision measuring tools, and conduct root cause analysis Desirable Skills Exposure to high-speed automated production lines, conveyors, gearboxes, or similar mechanical systems Experience in packaging, beverage, recycling, or metal manufacturing sectors Machining, welding certifications, or additional trade qualifications Track record contributing to continuous improvement or reliability projects ABOUT YOU You’re an experienced Workshop Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, or Mechanical Technician who enjoys getting hands dirty and solving problems under pressure.
