We're seeking an experienced Principal Cyber Security Engineer to lead and shape the cyber security strategy for a well-established financial services organisation. This is a hands-on, greenfield opportunity to drive security initiatives, uplift posture, and work closely with the CISO. Location: Melbourne CBD | 2 Days WFH / 3 Days Onsite Salary: $180K-$210K Base Super Bonus What you'll do: Take full ownership of the organisation's current security toolset, including Netskope, CrowdStrike, and Splunk Support the setup and ongoing delivery of the DevSecOps program Lead technical cyber security initiatives and coordinate team objectives Investigate complex security problems, deep dive into root causes, and implement practical solutions Influence security strategy through hands-on work, expertise, and initiative What we're looking for: 7 years in a technical cyber security role (financial services experience highly desirable) Calm, pragmatic, and proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership Hands-on experience across multiple domains, including: Scripting (PowerShell), DevSecOps, and Azure CrowdStrike, Netskope, SIEM (Splunk preferred) Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux/UNIX Firewall / WAF administration, Privileged Access Management Networking and Web Server Management Excellent written and verbal communication Apply Now!
