This role will drive the analysis, requirements gathering, and future‑state design for Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) as part of a major critical‑infrastructure uplift. You will play a key part in enabling a new operational platform by building strong IAM processes, governance, and stakeholder alignment. Client Details Our client is a public‑sector organisation running a major transformation programme centred on modernising essential operational technology and uplifting cyber maturity. They are delivering multiple enabling streams-including identity, infrastructure, geospatial, integrations, vulnerability management, and SOC uplift-to support a new mission‑critical platform going live next year. Description Gather requirements for IAM uplift across JML, access workflows, governance and audit. Analyse the current Entra ID access model and identify future‑state improvements. Support definition of IAM and PAM processes, including privileged identity governance. Consult with stakeholders across BAU teams, vendors, SMEs, and architecture forums. Document processes, functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria. Assist in evaluating and onboarding new IAM/PAM tools if recommended by the solution design. Support the broader cyber uplift streams where capacity allows. Profile A successful Business Analyst (Cybersecurity) should have: Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in IAM/IDAM and PAM. Strong understanding of Entra ID (Azure AD) and CyberArk and identity lifecycle processes. Familiarity with cyber uplift frameworks. Excellent stakeholder management across vendors, BAU teams, and governance groups. Strong documentation skills and ability to operate in a time‑pressured environment.
