Mauri is currently seeking applications for an Operational Excellence Director supporting our Bakery Ingredients businesses based at our Head Office in Enfield, reporting to the Managing Director. This critical role will lead Mauri's key manufacturing activities. As a key member of the Mauri leadership team (MLT), the Operational Excellence Director will drive accountability and ownership for the manufacture and delivery of quality bakery ingredients including flour, premix & yeast for our customers across ANZ. Key requirements of the role include: Leading and executing the Operations business plan in alignment with the Mauri strategy, emphasising production planning, process optimization, and system enhancements. Championing a cost competitive environment with a continuous improvement mindset focusing on cost management and CI initiatives Driving a culture of safety ensuring our people stay safe through proactive safety leadership as well as driving food safety. Overseeing strategies to optimise manufacturing efficiencies. Driving customer-centricity by prioritising high food quality standards, mitigating quality risks and fostering strong relationships with our customers. Enhancing commercial capability by applying analytical skills to read external trends and implement change to optimise the business. * Leading and coaching capable senior leaders ensuring a whole of business mindset is applied. We're seeking an accomplished Operations Leader with 10 years' experience, ideally gained within the food or agricultural sector. You will be currently operating at a senior management level and bring a proven track record of strong operational leadership across multiple sites. You're someone with high learning agility, strong interpersonal awareness, and the ability to lead with empathy, confidence and credibility. You recognise the power of collaboration, value the strength of a connected network, and thrive as part of a high performing team. Exceptional communication skills are essential, along with the ability to balance a deep understanding of day-to-day operational challenges while maintaining a strategic, forward looking perspective. We're looking for a disciplined leader who can drive process and systems improvement, and who has demonstrated capability in coaching and managing geographically dispersed teams. Maintaining high engagement, encouraging constructive challenge and enabling organisational change across the ANZ network will be key to success in this role.
