Description The Senor Tax Manager will be responsible for the following: Manage all tax compliance obligations, including preparation and lodgement of tax returns and BAS statements. Provide expert tax advisory services to support business decisions and strategies. Ensure adherence to Australian tax laws and regulations, identifying potential risks and opportunities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver effective tax planning and optimisation strategies. Lead the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures for financial reporting purposes. Manage relationships with external tax advisors and regulatory authorities. Monitor changes in tax legislation and provide updates to the organisation. Develop and implement tax policies, procedures, and best practices across the organisation. Profile A successful Tax Manager should have: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with relevant professional qualifications Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations. CA/CPA/CTA Qualification Proven experience in tax compliance and advisory within the retail industry or similar sectors. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proficiency in using accounting and tax software tools.
