Your Next Opportunity We’re on the lookout for a full-time Relief Cook/ Community Manager to support vibrant over 55s communities across the wider New South Wales team – Taree, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour and Dubbo Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of daily community and kitchen operations, helping us deliver exceptional experiences for our residents and having fun while doing it. Manage tenancy processes, resident files, documentation, audits and compliance with legislation and Ingenia policies. Support community engagement by promoting events, showing the community to prospective residents and helping deliver social activities. Prepare, cook and serve quality meals while maintaining strict food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards across the kitchen and dining areas. Maintain a safe environment by monitoring hazards, reporting incidents, managing contractors and adhering to WHS and Food Safety requirements. Willingness and flexibility to travel across multiple Ingenia Gardens sites (Accommodation and travel allowance offered) You’re Likely a Match If You Bring strong communication, relationship‑building and problem‑solving skills, with a genuine care for residents. Have experience managing staff, working in a commercial kitchen and handling compliance, audits or facilities‑related tasks. Are self‑motivated, organised and confident working independently while contributing positively to a team environment. Can stay calm under pressure, respond well to unexpected situations and provide constructive feedback when needed. Are physically capable of the role’s demands, including lifting, standing, using kitchen/cleaning equipment and moving around the community frequently. hold a current Food Safety Supervisor Accreditation & First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain) You’re someone who brings energy, ideas, and a genuine passion for making a difference. You love working with people, solving problems, and creating moments that matter.
