About the Role As a Junior Operations Assistant (Production & Supply Chain), you'll be the vital link in our end-to-end workflow, the person who keeps products moving seamlessly from supplier manufacturing through to warehouse shelves. From purchase order processing to freight tracking, production coordination and everything in between, you'll ensure our beautiful products get from concept to customer without a hitch. You'll work closely with our Production Manager and Operations team to develop your skills, solve problems proactively, and keep our supply chain running like clockwork. What You'll Do Process and track purchase orders with suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timely updates Coordinate weekly production status updates and flag any delays or risks Track inbound freight shipments and maintain visibility for the team Maintain data accuracy across our systems (Cin7, Shopify, and integrations) Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and our 3PL warehouse partners Reconcile invoices, packing lists, and receipt reports to catch discrepancies early Support inventory management and ensure products are available for sale on time Maintain compliance documentation and help identify process improvements What You'll Bring 1–2 years' experience in operations, production, administration, or supply chain support Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail Proactive, solutions-focused mindset - you spot issues before they become problems Confident communicating with both internal teams and external partners Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets including formulas, filters, and data management Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Bonus: experience with Cin7, Shopify, international freight, or working with 3PLs Why Join Hommey?
