Description THE ROLE Oversee and monitor daily tasks for the Electrical and Maintenance team, ensuring work is prioritised and completed on time Coordinate preventative maintenance across electrical systems, water systems, drainage, pumps, valves, kitchen and gas equipment, refrigeration, plant rooms and general facilities Attend meetings as required and carryout Toolbox talks with the Maintenance team Diagnose building issues and carry out repairs where possible Monitor the Computerised Maintenance Management System to action maintenance requests and support guest services Maintain workshops, storage areas, spare parts stock and issued tools, and provide recommendations for building and systems improvements Coordinate contractors for repair work and promptly escalate service interruptions that may impact operations Record monthly meter readings and monitor consumption of water, electricity and gas Participate in Emergency Response Team activities and safety-related procedures Assist with the review and implementation of policies and procedures across the Maintenance team ABOUT YOU Experienced in commercial building maintenance and supervising a trades team Trade certificate in a related field (desirable but not essential) Skilled in coordinating workloads in a fast-paced, customer focused environment Holds or is willing to obtain First Aid, CPR or LVR and Switchboard Rescue training Has a current Class C driver licence Happy to work mornings, nights or weekends as rostered Strong communicator with a commitment to safety, service quality and teamwork Full Australian working rights are required for this position in addition to a probity check.
