We are currently undergoing a large period of expansion and specialisation, creating exciting opportunities for individuals keen to challenge themselves and progress their professional knowledge and skills.â¯Â  Services are provided through our six main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.  About the Role: A part-time fixed term opportunity (until March 2027 - covering maternity leave) exists forâ¯a Grade 2/3 Pharmacy Technicianâ¯to join the team at Northern Health.  This role will require work 40 hours a fortnight based at Kilmore District hospital with potential to rotate to other sites of Northern Health as required.⯠ This role will also be expected to participate in our weekend and public holiday roster.â¯Â  The role of the Pharmacy Technician is an integral part of our growing team, which comprises of over 100 pharmacists and close to 40 technicians. The successful applicant will participate in a highly functioning team, providing a service covering a wide-range of clinical specialties, dispensary, outpatient clinics, education and stewardship programs.  This position is fixed term part time (20 hours per fortnight) until March 2027 - covering maternity leave  To be successful in this role you will have: Certificate III or IV in Health (Hospital Pharmacy Technician) awarded by a registered training organisation or equivalent qualification (as approved by the Pharmacy Board of Victoria or equivalent body), or looking to attain this certificate within 18 months of commencing employment. Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.â¯Â Ability to produce a service of excellence by use of Quality Improvement techniques and be familiar with National Standards Accreditation requirementsâ¯Â Previous exposure to a broad range of pharmacy services in the general hospital field.â¯Â Good time management and organisational skills are a must.  Next Steps . . . If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, then we would love to hear from you. Please click on the 'Apply'  button and follow the prompts.  For further details, please refer to the Position Description .
