As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team and support strong, accurate and insightful financial reporting across the group. About the Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role plays a critical part in preparing consolidated monthly management accounts, Board reporting and ASX compliant Annual and Interim Financial Reports. You will work closely with senior leaders across the business as part of the month-end review process, providing technical accounting expertise, insightful analysis and clear financial commentary. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and partnering with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities • Support month-end close including P&L journal posting, analysis and commentary • Prepare accurate and timely monthly Board reporting packs • Deliver variance analysis across P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements • Maintain ownership and accountability for key balance sheet accounts • Complete balance sheet reconciliations with clear commentary and action plans • Provide technical accounting advice and identify accounting issues and impacts • Assist the FP&A team with annual budgets and reforecasting • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting • Contribute to ad hoc initiatives and projects, ensuring strong documentation Skills & Experience Required • CA or CPA qualification • 5 years' experience in a similar financial accounting role, retail experience preferred • Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail • Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders • Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement and problem solving What’s In It For You • Career growth as we expand across Australia and New Zealand • Training and development to support your professional progression • Employee and family discounts across our range • Paid parental leave for primary and secondary carers • Annual flu vaccinations • Hybrid working model for better work-life balance • Supportive, collaborative team environment • Access to our Employee Assistance Program for wellbeing support Please note: Every employer in Australia has the obligation to ensure that employees have the relevant working rights.
