Known for a hands-on, relationship-driven approach, the business offers a stable, well-established portfolio and the opportunity to work closely with decision-makers in a collaborative environment. your role This is a Trust Accountant–led position with embedded portfolio responsibility, focused on the financial management and integrity of a commercial portfolio, supported by direct tenant engagement. This is a genuinely unique opportunity for a Trust Accountant who enjoys owning the full financial lifecycle of assets — without the distraction of leasing, maintenance coordination, or routine inspections (all handled by specialist teams). Key responsibilities include: End-to-end trust accounting across a commercial portfolio Rental invoicing, outgoings recoveries, rent reviews, and owner distributions Monthly and annual reconciliations , budgets, and statutory wash-ups Arrears monitoring, payment plans, and proactive tenant follow-up Commercial lease administration including commencements, variations, and exits Predominantly industrial assets, with a smaller mix of office and retail Financial coordination on insurance claims, legal matters, and audits Close collaboration with internal asset, leasing, and external stakeholders where required your advantage This role will strongly suit someone with: Proven commercial trust accounting experience Strong reconciliation, outgoings, and budget management capability Confidence managing arrears and maintaining clean ledgers A solid understanding of commercial leases and tenant financial obligations Experience with property systems (Cirrus8 highly regarded) High attention to detail, strong controls mindset, and the ability to work autonomously your perks Landlord-side role — no agency pressure, clean structures No routine inspections, no leasing, no maintenance coordination Approx. 80% of assets are low-touch , with 20% requiring more active financial oversight Direct access to decision-makers and ownership over your portfolio Streamlined processes with minimal red tape Long-term, stable opportunity within a close-knit, commercially focused team your casa contact: Sam Di Natale, Director phone number : 0448 448 338 email: samd@casarecruitment.com.au Ready to make a move that feels like home?
