The Company: An established and fast-growing ICT services organisation is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive net new business growth across the Brisbane market. This is a true new business (“hunter”) role , focused on winning new customers, building pipeline, and selling end-to-end technology solutions across Managed Services, Professional Services, Digital Transformation, Infrastructure and Technology Procurement. The Opportunity: Reporting to the State Sales Leader, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities, with a strong emphasis on recurring revenue, gross profit and long-term customer relationships . You’ll operate as a trusted advisor, engaging decision-makers at all levels and working collaboratively with presales, solutions and delivery teams to shape commercially sound outcomes for customers. This role suits someone who is highly motivated, structured in their sales approach, and genuinely enjoys proactive prospecting and solution-based selling. Key Responsibilities: Drive new business sales performance across your assigned region Identify, qualify and convert net new opportunities across the full ICT portfolio Proactively prospect through cold calling, CRM follow-ups and targeted outreach Re-engage previous prospects and dormant opportunities within the CRM Build and maintain a healthy, qualified pipeline with strong forecasting discipline Prepare thoroughly for customer meetings to establish credibility and trust Leverage digital and social channels for personalised lead generation Collaborate closely with marketing, presales and delivery teams Maintain accurate CRM records across accounts, contacts, opportunities and activities Plan and manage your activity levels in line with conversion metrics and targets What You’ll Bring: 5 years’ experience in ICT sales or account management Proven success selling complex, whole-of-business technology solutions Strong track record of achieving new business revenue targets Consultative, solution-led sales approach Confidence presenting to and influencing C-suite and senior stakeholders Solid pipeline and opportunity management capability Experience in an outsourced or managed services environment Commercial exposure to presales or solutions architecture across: IT & infrastructure Cloud & data Networking & unified communications Voice / telephony Self-starter mindset with high levels of resilience and accountability Performance Expectations: Consistent achievement of quarterly sales and GP targets Maintenance of a minimum 3:1 qualified pipeline ratio Strong win-rate performance Positive customer satisfaction outcomes Why This Role?
