Blake Oliver Consulting is working with a global consulting and technology firm to appoint a Business Capability Lead into a major enterprise platform transformation. This is a senior, delivery-accountable role. You will own the design and delivery of business capabilities end to end, from shaping requirements through to deployment and transition into operations. You will operate with real authority over backlog priorities, acceptance criteria, and delivery outcomes. This role suits someone who has led complex platform transformations in large, regulated environments and is comfortable sitting between executive stakeholders and technical delivery teams. What You’ll Be Accountable For Owning the design and delivery of defined business capabilities aligned to program objectives Decomposing high-level initiatives into clear, prioritised work items and epics Setting and owning backlog priorities, acceptance criteria, and delivery sequencing Working closely with IT delivery teams to shape practical, implementable solutions Contributing to multi-year roadmaps covering timelines, dependencies, and resourcing Overseeing delivery to ensure quality, budget, and timeline expectations are met Defining business acceptance plans and ensuring successful transition into the new platform This role carries genuine decision-making authority and visibility at senior levels. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a senior transformation leader with a strong mix of domain, platform, and delivery experience, including: Deep experience across complex IT and platform landscapes, ideally within telecommunications or similarly scaled enterprises Proven leadership of enterprise service platform transformations, with Remedy to ServiceNow experience strongly preferred Demonstrated authority over product or capability backlogs, priorities, and acceptance decisions Strong stakeholder influence skills, including executive-level engagement Practical experience delivering outcomes in Agile environments, SAFe certification desirable Strong business acumen, with the ability to link platform delivery to measurable business outcomes Clear, confident communicator able to translate technical complexity into commercial value This is not a coordination or facilitation role.
