Job Description We are seeking an experienced Fortinet Network Engineer to design, implement, and support secure network infrastructures with a strong focus on FortiGate firewalls and SD-WAN solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working in dynamic environments and delivering resilient, secure network services. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage FortiGate firewalls across enterprise and multi-site environments Implement, configure, and optimize FortiGate SD-WAN solutions Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network and security incidents Manage firewall policies, VPNs (site-to-site and remote access), NAT, and routing Perform upgrades, patches, and configuration backups Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure network security and performance Produce and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams Support ongoing improvements to network security and architecture Your Skills Proven experience as a Network Engineer with strong Fortinet exposure Hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewalls Solid experience implementing and supporting FortiGate SD-WAN Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, BGP/OSPF) Experience with VPN technologies and security best practices Ability to troubleshoot complex network and firewall issues Fortinet certification (e.g. NSE 4, NSE 5, or higher) Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools Apply today If you are a skilled Fortinet Network Engineer looking for your next challenge, please apply with your CV or email gary@psgaus.com/.au
