About the Role: As a Pre-Pour QA Specialist , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our precast concrete panels meets all QA requirements. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the willingness to assist production crew as needed. Key responsibilities: Visual inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of panels pre-pour to identify any surface defects, cracks, or inconsistencies. Dimensional checks: Verify that panels conform to the required dimensions and specifications. Embedded items: Ensure embedded components (e.g., lifting anchors, reinforcement, conduits) are correctly placed and aligned per engineering drawings. Surface finish: Assess the quality of the surface finish, ensuring it meets aesthetic and structural requirements. Documentation: Record all QA findings accurately in inspection logs and report any non-conformances to the supervisor. Compliance: Ensure panels meet company, client, and regulatory quality standards. Communication: Liaise with the production team to address and rectify any issues identified during the QA process. Support on the floor: Provide hands-on assistance to the crew with tasks such as repairs, adjustments, or alignment when necessary. What we are looking for: Experience in tilt-up precast panel manufacturing or a related QA role. Strong understanding of precast concrete production and quality standards. Attention to detail and the ability to identify even minor deviations. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. A team player who is also comfortable working independently.
