Information about the position, duties and responsibilities of the role is available in the attached job description As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in the community correctional environment where you will: Administer sexual offending assessments with individuals who are moderate to high risk who may present with a range of complexity; Build the capability of Community Corrections staff by providing training and clinical support regarding sexual offending; Building capability within the team through provision of mentoring and coaching to newly developing practitioners. Experienced professionals with a relevant degree in psychology, social work, criminology, justice, health, behaviour or social sciences. Post-graduate qualifications will be highly regarded. Demonstrated experience in clinical or forensic fields conducting validated assessments with individuals who are moderate to high risk and individuals who may present with various complexities and responsivities including impairments, major mental illness and personality difficulties. Professionals with knowledge in the assessment, treatment and management of individuals who have committed sexual offences or other behaviours of concern. Practitioners who can effectively and confidently communicate other practitioners and stakeholders. Practitioners who keep up to date with evidence-based research.
