Position: Senior Structural Estimator Location: Perth, WA Salary: $180K – $260K Super (experience dependent) A senior opportunity is available for an experienced Structural Estimator to join a highly regarded WA contractor delivering some of the state’s most significant transport and infrastructure projects. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, this role sits within a well-established estimating and planning team and offers exposure to both large-scale tier-one tenders and standalone packages . You’ll be heavily involved in MRWA bridge and structural works, contributing detailed, buildable estimates grounded in real construction methodology. This position suits an estimator who is hands-on, detail-driven, and confident working through complex scopes rather than staying at a high level. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates for MRWA structural and bridge projects Contribute to major tenders exceeding $1B as part of a wider bid team Lead pricing on standalone packages from $50M Develop cost models based on construction methodology, sequencing, and productivity Work closely with planners, engineers, and delivery teams Review subcontractor pricing and construction approaches Use industry estimating systems to produce accurate, competitive submissions What You’ll Bring Proven experience estimating MRWA structural and bridge works Background in bridges, precast concrete, or major civil structures Strong exposure to large-scale infrastructure tenders Practical understanding of construction sequencing and productivity Comfortable working deep in the detail — not a “high-level only” estimator Experience with estimating software (Zenith or similar preferred) Solid WA infrastructure experience Why Join?
