The Job With the IRT Brisbane reporter, research, develop and produce high-quality, engaging investigations for all ABC platforms, including for 7.30 and Four Corners. Aim to break major local and national stories. Help develop and produce short and long-form scripts, digital copy and social content. Help research, develop and produce quick turnaround investigative stories. Maintain strong national and international contacts and stay across current events. Use audience, digital and social trends to maximise reach and engagement. Strong contacts in Queensland, including in areas such as politics, business and law enforcement. Strong skills in writing and producing multimedia online stories. Excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving skills. Strong field production skills. Creative short- and long-form storytelling across platforms. Strong web-based research skills and CMS experience desirable Proven ability to build contacts across diverse Australian communities.
