THE COMPANY: Source SBG is a successful Australian owned, QLD based, family business with three existing brands: Source SBG, The Lab Coat Company and Spencil. Their products span lab & clinical wear, apparel, stationery and textile sectors with a strong focus on children’s and university markets. Source SBG sells products through their online stores, wholesale and distributor networks, and regular pop-up stores. THE OPPORTUNITY: The Ecommerce Manager plays a critical role in driving growth across key digital channels. This position leads the planning, development and execution of the organisation’s ecommerce and digital marketing strategy, with a strong focus on performance, customer experience and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role suited to someone who enjoys combining strategy with execution and making a tangible impact across established B2B and B2C brands , where online retail is core to the business. Key responsibilities include: Oversee the ecommerce marketing strategy, including development, implementation and execution. Take responsibility for the development of ecommerce channels and manage their day-to-day operations; Identify and implement opportunities to drive sales and lead generation through online channels and achieve budgeted performance objectives; Deliver on marketing initiatives aligned with organisational goals, both financial and strategic; Manage website optimisation and integrated systems to improve user experience, sales, conversion, average transaction value and loyalty; Recommend and implement technical, content and process improvements that contribute to seamless experiences for customers; Undertake consistent monitoring, refining and innovation of the ecommerce channels to ensure best practice; Manage external team members such as web developers, digital marketing agencies and other third-party providers, directing their efforts to ensure the marketing strategy is delivered effectively in line with organisational goals; Provide analysis and insight generation, evaluation and reporting, using a range of tools to identify opportunities as well as measure effectiveness and success. ALL ABOUT YOU: A commercially minded ecommerce professional who enjoys ownership, accountability and building meaningful customer experiences; Proven experience managing ecommerce and digital marketing in an online retail environment (in-house or agency); Strong exposure to digital marketing and ecommerce strategy development; A customer-first mindset with a passion for UX and online performance; Solid, current knowledge of ecommerce best practice, tools and platforms (ideally within retail or consumer products); Experience across areas such as content management, product management, marketing automation, SEO/SEM, digital advertising, analytics and reporting; Strong written, verbal and stakeholder communication skills; A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to troubleshoot and identify and resolve performance bottlenecks; The ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously while collaborating within a team. Highly regarded experience: Ecommerce platforms such as BigCommerce and ERPs such as CIN7; Tools including Klaviyo (or similar), Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign), Google ecommerce tools, Meta for Business, Reviews.io, Gorgias; Working knowledge of CMS, automation, SEO/SEM, HTML/CSS and online marketplaces; Qualifications in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline desirable, but not essential. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Full time, permanent position. This role can be achieved on-site or in a hybrid or remote capacity. Head Office is located in Pine Mountain, Ipswich QLD. For hybrid or remote arrangements, candidates must be based in Brisbane, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast regions. Occasional travel to the Head Office required.
