ConsultANZ are seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to join our leading client’s team in Wollongong . Our client provides comprehensive piling and foundation solutions across civil, commercial, infrastructure, and mining projects. They operate a wide range of advanced piling equipment from Bauer, Liebherr, Soilmec, Tescar, and Junttan . Main Duties The position is responsible for ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of machinery. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and providing technical support to while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Key Responsibilities: Attend sites to identify, analyze, and troubleshoot reported machine errors and malfunctions. Assemble or dismantle machines and components on site in accordance with commissioning documentation. Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance based on manufacturer manuals and machine operating hours. Provide technical guidance and explanations to other workshop staff and clients Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Perform retrofits on recommended machines and accurately record all updates in the service database. Overhaul machine components in the workshop and contribute to major machine overhaul projects. Identify and source required spare parts from machine schematics and provide accurate recommendations for service jobs. Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and test results for compliance and record-keeping. Complete training programs to develop advanced troubleshooting skills and handle complex machine issues. Prepare detailed technical reports and service estimates for complex overhaul projects. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant Electrical Engineering Degree Proven experience in similar machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Strong technical knowledge of similar machine schematics and components. Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
