The Labour Hire Authority (LHA ) protects Victorian workers from exploitation and improves transparency and integrity in the labour hire industry by regulating businesses that provide or use labour hire services. LHA licences labour hire providers, monitors and enforces compliance, and supports providers, hosts and workers to understand and comply with their legal obligations . Established to administer the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2018 (Vic) ( LHL Act ), LHA is an independent agency whose work is wholly funded by licence fees from labour hire businesses. Since 2019, LHA has expanded its program of industry engagement, compliance and enforcement, growing its small and dedicated team to around 120 staff and establishing a strong track record. About the position Reporting to the Director of Regulatory Operations, the Associate Director, Regulatory Operations is a key leadership position responsible for implementing LHA's strategic and regulatory approaches to labour hire licensing, licence monitoring, and stakeholder enquires and our relevant operational policies and procedures. With reporting line management of the Licensing and Enquiries Branch and the Licence Monitoring Branch, the Associate Director will demonstrate values-based leadership of a team of Licensing Officers, Enquiries Officers and Licence Monitoring Officers to ensure that: the process of licensing applications and renewals is correct, impartial, efficient and consistent with the LHA's strategic goals the monitoring, identifying and remediation of non-compliance amongst licence holders is consistent with the LHA's strategic goals educational information, guidance, advice and support is provided in a timely and accurate manner to internal and external stakeholders About you A dynamic experienced leader with the demonstrated capability and passion to lead and develop others to deliver an effective regulatory approach in a complex and challenging environment A high-level stakeholder manager with the skills, service focus and ability to manage sensitive and complex competing priorities with many and varied internal and external stakeholders An experienced, values driven people leader with a strong knowledge of relevant regulatory operations and legislation How to Apply Please apply by providing a cover letter including your responses to the Key Selection Criteria outlined in the Position Description (attached), along with your Resume/CV.
