Learn more on dxc.com The Domain Solution Architect – Financial Services is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping, governing, and delivering analytics, AI enabled and digital transformation solutions primarily across Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance organisations. This role integrates industry leadership, solution architecture authority, commercial ownership, and presales accountability, ensuring DXC delivers compliant, scalable, and value‑driven solutions within highly regulated financial environments. Key Responsibilities Financial Services Industry Leadership Act as DXC’s senior domain authority for Financial Services across ANZ. Build trusted advisor relationships with executive stakeholders across banking, insurance, wealth, and payments organisations. Provide thought leadership across regulatory compliance, data governance, risk management, and customer analytics. Influence client strategy through value‑led data, analytics, and AI solutions. Revenue & Portfolio Growth Own and grow the Financial Services analytics and digital transformation portfolio, including pipeline, revenue, and contract value. Partner with account and sales leaders to identify strategic growth opportunities within priority accounts. Lead or influence large‑scale bids, renewals, and account expansions. Improve sales conversion through disciplined opportunity shaping and solution governance. Presales, Solution Architecture & Governance Lead end‑to‑end solution shaping for Financial Services opportunities. Design and govern end‑to‑end architectures across data platforms, analytics, AI/ML, cloud, and integration. Ensure solutions meet regulatory, security, privacy, and resilience requirements. Contribute to and review RFP, RFT, and RFI responses, client briefings, and executive workshops. Provide governance over assumptions, estimates, pricing inputs, and delivery risks. Delivery Assurance & Practice Development Ensure smooth transition of solutions into delivery and realisation of business outcomes. Partner with delivery leadership to maintain delivery predictability, quality, and margin. Contribute to Financial Services‑specific solution offerings, accelerators, and IP. Support mentoring and capability uplift across analytics and solution architecture communities. KPIs & Success Measures Financial Services revenue, pipeline growth, and contract value attainment. Bid win rates and pursuit effectiveness. Compliance, security, and architectural quality outcomes. Client satisfaction, executive sponsorship, and repeat engagements. Delivery predictability, margin protection, and risk reduction. Contribution to practice capability, IP development, and thought leadership. Maintain 40% utilisation on Data & AI project delivery. Skills & Experience Industry & Domain Leadership 15 years’ experience leading enterprise data and digital initiatives across Financial Services, including banking, insurance, payments, or wealth management. Proven track record advising executives on data strategy, operating models, governance, compliance, and risk to drive measurable business outcomes. Enterprise Data Strategy & Governance Expertise in Data Governance & Security, Data Maturity Assessments, Strategic Lifecycle Management, and Enterprise Information/Data Modelling (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault, Enterprise Information Model). Hands‑on leadership with DMBOK/DAMA and TOGAF aligned practices; implementation of metadata management, lineage, quality, and master/reference data disciplines. Architecture & Modern Platforms End‑to‑end solution design across modern data platforms, including lakehouse and data fabric patterns; event‑driven and streaming architectures; microservices integration and DevOps enablement. Advanced experience with Azure (Azure SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory/ADF, Cosmos DB), AWS, Snowflake, Informatica and google data ecosystems. Systems & Tools Databricks (Delta Lake, ML pipelines) and Microsoft Fabric (e.g., OneLake, lakehouse, pipelines, semantic models). Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Confluent (Kafka), MuleSoft, Salesforce, SAP, DBT, SSIS, ADF, PowerShell, Git, Jira/Confluence. BI & Analytics: Power BI, Tableau, SSRS; advanced Python/R analytics workflows and enablement of data science platforms. Data Engineering & Integration Design and leadership of robust ingestion, transformation, and inter‑system interoperability across ERP/CRM and OT/IT boundaries. Implementation of reusable data migration engines and reconciliation/exception reporting at scale. Presales, Commercials & Delivery Governance Executive presales leadership (discovery, solution options, estimation, assumption & risk registers), RFP/RFT authorship, solution governance, and handover into delivery with clear NFRs and transition plans. Proven margin protection through architecture guardrails, risk mitigation, quality gates, and measurable delivery outcomes. Leadership & Practice Building Practice uplift (capability frameworks, accelerators, reusable IP, and cross‑functional collaboration with product, security, finance, and operations.
