About the Role As a Project Officer at the Education Futures Institute (EFI) in Townsville, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering high-quality professional learning programs. This role supports the EFI's mission to empower education professionals through targeted and evidence-informed capability development. Key responsibilities include: Leading event management processes, including procurement administration, communications, and negotiations with external partners. Coordinating bookings, travel, and financial activities, ensuring compliance with departmental standards. Liaising with senior management, team members, and external stakeholders to provide high-quality administrative support. Managing organisational and executive support functions, including scheduling, communications, and correspondence with a high level of accuracy. Maintaining and enhancing administrative systems and processes to maximise service effectiveness. About You The following traits would be beneficial: Outstanding communication and customer service skills. Strong organisational and proactive task management abilities. Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Content Manager, and MS Teams; exposure to SAP is advantageous.
