We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes: Demonstrated high level skills and experience relevant to the statutory town planning and property aspects of delivering capital works programs, including managing technical teams to undertake facility design and studies for engineering and environmental matters. Demonstrated high level knowledge and ability to interpret and apply government requirements, relevant legislation and policy applicable to town planning, property and project development matters, including ministerial infrastructure designation and local authority planning approvals. Demonstrated highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills in town planning, property and project design/development and delivery matters, including the ability to deliver innovative performance outcomes. Well-developed leadership skills and the proven ability to manage and coordinate internal and external stakeholders in order to effectively and efficiently prioritise work and meet operational deadlines and objectives, in a dynamic environment of competing priorities and agendas. High level oral and written communication skills, including the proven ability to consult, network and negotiate with a diversity of stakeholders and represent the strategic interests of the QAS at regional and state levels. Excellent organisational skills, including the proven ability to multi-task, demonstrate sound judgement and work effectively both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role: The incumbent may be required to travel intrastate on official business and the possession of a C class driver's licence is required. Possession of tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field such as town planning, property, engineering or a property development related discipline will be highly regarded.
