About the role As the Schools Officer (Primarily Grounds), you will play a vital role in maintaining the school's grounds and facilities to a high standard, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and the community. Key responsibilities include: Maintaining school ovals, gardens, and grounds through mowing, watering, weeding, and pruning. Performing general maintenance of grounds care equipment and arranging regular servicing. Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements, including safe storage and handling of chemicals and equipment. Coordinating rubbish removal and assisting with repairs to fences, gates, and irrigation systems. Preparing and maintaining outdoor sporting facilities and supporting agricultural activities as required.
