Your Key Accountabilities: The core capability requirements for this role are: Provide expertise in developing evidence-based prevention initiatives associated with harm minimisation and victim-centric approaches to community safety issues with a particular focus on perceptions of safety. Lead the implementation and evaluation of prevention strategies and tactics which support the objectives of Divisions, Districts, Regions and Commands. Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams involved in organisational and or operational improvement initiatives related to prevention. Consult, liaise and network with appropriate Service, government and non-government organisations to identify community safety and prevention needs, and deliver a collaborative response. Provide high-level strategic advice in the analysis, design, development and evaluation of prevention responses together with appropriate recommendation. Role Requirements Qualification Highly Desirable: qualifications and/or experience in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Crime Prevention, Community Development, Project Management, Research, Public Relations and/or other relevant fields Other * The occupant of this position may be expected to travel throughout the State as required.
