We have created an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Manager – Strategy & M&A to join our Growth, Strategy & Innovation team and play a key role in shaping the future of the business. Reporting to the Executive Director – Growth, Strategy & Innovation, this role will focus on executing our strategic framework, delivering our mergers and acquisitions (M&A) agenda, and driving value across our existing contract portfolio. This is a high-impact role suited to a commercially astute professional who enjoys working across strategy, finance, operations and executive leadership. The role As Senior Manager – Strategy & M&A, you will: Manage multiple M&A projects with a strong focus on transaction execution Conduct market research and analysis to identify and assess potential acquisition targets Develop high-quality advocacy materials, including strategic rationales and presentations for CGA, APAC and Group stakeholders Lead financial modelling, valuation and commercial analysis Add value to underperforming or complex contracts by working collaboratively with operational, commercial and legal teams The Person You are a confident, commercially minded leader with strong analytical capability and the ability to influence at senior levels. You will bring: A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline 3–5 years’ relevant experience in strategy, M&A, corporate finance or a similar environment Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills Proven ability to produce high-quality, impactful documentation for internal and external audiences Strong project management capability and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Why Compass Group?
